Saturday, May 14th, 2011

Hello and Hi,
We are approaching that time of the month. Where tensions rise and blood flows. No, not *that* time! It's Warhammer time! Are we going to be gathering on the 14th for our *ahem* "regular" Warhammer Saturday? I for one will be there, so if anyone else is coming and also if you'd like to set-up a game, throw down a (blog) post!

  1. I am definitely interested and plan on being there. Interested in playing a bigger game?

  2. I would be up for a small game (say, 1750 points, plus or minus a few hundred points) if anyone else wants to roll some dice.

  4. I forgot when posting that I have a mandatory Medic First Aid course that day for my work. Hope to be home by about 2:30. Still up for a game though. Hopefully in the 2500-3500 pt range even though that will be a late start...

  5. Ken, I guess I actually wouldn't mind 3000 pts (especially considering the fact that I've already got a list for that level). Later in the day actually works better for me anyways. Is 3:00 start time fine with you, or would later be better?

  6. If we can start early enough to finish it, I'd like to do 3-4k, maybe more.

  7. Eventually, I'll bring my 6K Skaven army. Still have some assembly and a lot of painting for that though.

  8. @Liam Yeah, 3k is fine and 3:00 should be okay. That's about as late as I hope to start though b/c of how long it can take to play! ;)
I wish I didn't have to do the Medic thing but oh well....

@Kev 6K!?! Wow. That will be SWeeT! Better plan a day for each movement phase! (Unless you have movement trays ;) )

  9. Kev, 4k sounds great. just had to make sure I had the models for it. Good to go. Bwooohahahahaha I fear I will get crushed, but will Megamind you...I am going to go down in style!

  10. @Ken Movement won't take that long, but just the unpacking and setting them on the table might. Only about 320 individual Models is all.

  11. lol I'm going to work on outdoing you with 4pt skeletons! Let's see now....4000pts/4pt p/model = 1000 core skeletons! That's a lot of bones for your rats to chew on! (or gnoblars, or whichever is hungrier, or maybe enough for both!) And at the low low price of just over $2 p/model through games workshop (16 models for $35) it will only take me a years wages! Ya know what? Forget that! NOT going to happen! I concede the battle right now! ;) Seriously though, can't wait to see all that, especially once it's all painted and rip ready rearing to go!

  13. Liam,Ken says he thinks he will be home closer to 1pm,he wants to know if you would mind doing a smaller game, say 2k or 25oo instead and if you can start any earlier. Because he didnt get to finish the models he wanted to.
